Peer Review Policies

Research articles submitted to this online journal will be reviewed. Accepted research articles will be available online (free download) following the journal's peer-review process. The language used in this journal is Indonesian or English.

Reviewing manuscripts written by team reviewers, the Kariman Editorial Board, authors, and the audience appreciates your willingness to accept this responsibility and dedication. Kariman leads to a fast and fair double-blind peer-review process, and also ensures the quality of published articles. Thus, Kariman requires a review that can provide useful comments on submitted manuscripts in about 4 weeks. Kariman continues to prioritize high-quality scientific journals depending on reviewers with a high level of expertise and the ability to be objective, fair and insightful in the evaluation of manuscripts.

If the Kariman Editorial Team has invited you to review a manuscript, please consider the following:

  1. Review the manuscript critically, but constructively and prepare detailed comments on the manuscript to help writers improve their writing
  2. Review various versions of the manuscript as necessary
  3. Provide all necessary information within the set deadline
  4. Making recommendations to editors regarding the suitability of manuscripts for publication in journals
  5. Notify the editor of a possible conflict of interest with respect to the authors or the content of the manuscripts that they are requested to revise
  6. Report possible research errors
  7. Suggest alternative reviewers if they are unable to review the manuscript for acceptable reasons
  8. Treat manuscripts as confidential documents
  9. Don't communicate directly with the author, if somehow they identify the author
  10. Do not identify themselves to the author
  11. Do not pass on manuscripts assigned to other reviewers
  12. Ensuring that the manuscript is high quality and original work
  13. Notifies the editor if he finds an assigned manuscript being considered in another publication
  14. Write a review report in Indonesian or English
  15. Writing comments for publications related to the manuscript being reviewed.

Manuscripts can be received without revision, minor revision, major revision, or even rejected. The final decision on acceptance of the manuscript must be made by the Editorial Board in accordance with the critical comments of the reviewer. The results of the articles reviewed by the viewer will be notified to the author via email. Authors are given the opportunity to revise their articles based on the suggestions of reviewers (and editors) no later than 8 weeks after the email notification.
